What is Assistant Banner

Assistant Banner simply places a banner under the navigation menu of the website to allow users to opt in to assistant.

Banner Availability

  • Must have an Assistant RCF with website
  • New order with website and Assistant RCF
  • Upsell website with Assistant RCF
  • Current Assistant with RCF and adding a website

Process

DSC

Website can have the Assistant Banner or Dynamic Row. They can NOT have both.  If requested the website can display a Dynamic Row on homepage and assistant on all remaining pages that sell.

Note:  Questionnaire will no longer ask the Dynamic Row question. This can be added post build if requested, as long as the customer does not have the Assistant Banner.


DSC is prompted in the questionnaire if the customer would like a banner if the Assistant with RCF is present. Also, a question that indicates what the customer would like the banner to display as to what the customer will receive if opting in.

The questionnaire presents the follow question.

For an additional order, if the customer currently has Assistant with an RCF and orders a website, this question will not appear. DSC needs to add in notes section that the customer would like a banner.


If the customer agrees to a banner, the following question is prompted.

The following reminder displays for DSC to open an Amend case,  if “Proceed with RCF” AND “Yes” to Banner in Address Phone Email Section. 

Note:  Question will not show up for medical / dental verticals due to those clients not having the option for Assistant RCFs. Insurance verticals will have an additional trigger question about providing healthcare insurances to determine if they are eligible.

Copywriter

Questionnaire determines if the customer has requested an Assistant Banner to be added to their website.

  1. Verify on questionnaire if Assistant Banner was requested.
  2. If request, add section in HWP under the Assistant folder.
  3. Banner is placed under the navigation menu, if transparent header it is placed under the hero.
  4. Copywriter adds only to home page, Build will add to other pages once design is complete.

3.  At the account level or DSC case in Salesforce, open the RCF view.


4.  Copy the Assistant RCF number.


5.  In HWP, click on banner and paste the Assistant RCF (provisioned) number.

6.  Enter the Offer Type indicated on the questionnaire.

7.  Copy to appropriate pages

8.  From the questionnaire select the Offer Type.

9.  Ensure the phone format is (XXX) XXX-XXXX

10.  Build completes the remainder of the Assistant Banner.


Build

1.  Build completes the color, background... as described on the overview page.

2. Once design is complete, add banner to all pages that sell, unless otherwise requested.

  • Search / Social Specific Landing Pages


DPS

1.  Make appropriate changes requested.

2.  If RCF change or cancel:

a. Update changes

b.  Verify auto amends case opened, if not open

i.   DPS changes, follow normal process of creating and closing cases

ii.  Major changes, follow normal process of sending to Amends

3.  DPS would ask customer if they would like the banner added to website, if applicable.

4.  Adding banner and Assistant RCF is considered a minor amend.


Note: Medical / dental vertical clients do not have the option for Assistant RCFs.

Amends / ESC

1.  Make appropriate changes requested.

2.  Open/Close cases per normal process.

QA

1.  Verify banner is on all "pages that sell", unless otherwise specified.

2.  Verify the Assistant RCF is the phone number in the banner.

3.  Verify the colors between the navigation menu and banner have a good contrast, and border if needed.

4.  Verify the phone format is (XXX) XXX-XXXX.
